Piotr Sankowski at the head of the IDEAS NCBR

Piotr Sankowski, CSO MIM Solutions, became the head of IDEAS NCBR, the first research and development center in Poland operating in the field of artificial intelligence and digital economy.

IDEAS NCBR was established in order to increase the research, development and innovation potential in the field of artificial intelligence and digital economy. One of the priorities of the center will be the practical application of results of the implemented projects and their commercialization. IDEAS NCBR has ambitions to become an effective catalyst for innovation in the field of AI related to the digital economy. It is planned to be a strong link between science and business in this field on the Polish market.

Who are we?

MIM Solutions was launched as a spin-off of the University of Warsaw’s Algorithms Group, directed by prof. Piotr Sankowski. The company has brought together experts passionate about solving practical algorithmic problems efficiently, and this has finally evolved towards machine learning. Although MIM Solutions is not a part of the university now, we are still in tight cooperation.
