Detecting gene variants correlated with MII oocytes developed during ovarian stimulation

“Detecting gene variants correlated with MII oocytes developed during ovarian stimulation” is the title of an article written by dr Piotr Wygocki, CEO of MIM Solutions along with other scientists: Sebastian Pukszta, Krystian Zieliński (both from Grupa INVICTA), Marcin Zielen (from MIM Solutions), Joanna Jakóbkiewicz-Banecka and Anna Kloska (both from University of Gdansk).
The article was published in the July issue of “Human Reproduction” of the publishing house Oxford University Press.
The research conducted by the aforementioned team helped to determine whether it’s possible to identify genetic factors influencing the number of MII oocytes produced in the course of ovarian stimulation. The article provided the positive answer that applying data exploration techniques makes it possible to identify gene variants that markedly improved the ability to predict the number of MII oocytes. Hence, the study constitutes a very significant contribution to the research and debate on infertility treatment. Read more >>
