During the Central European BioForum Ula Sankowska, co-CEO@MIM Solutions, chaired a discussion panel “AI and its application in biotechnology”.

Interested specialists from the world of BioTech and MedTech were presented the following topics:

• The most critical factors in the AI application development in the BioTech sector;
• Competitiveness of the European BioTech companies (which implement AI) in comparison to organizations from the USA and China;
• The benefits from the growing amount of data “produced” by the healthcare system during patient diagnostics;
• Fears and concerns over AI potentially replacing scientists in labs or R&D departments;

At this point, we’d like to thank all the panelists – Katarzyna Kolasa, PhD, Richard Fox, Pawel Kuśmierowski, and Tomasz Pilewicz, PhD for the heated discussion on each of these topics (and a few more!).
