On September 15-18, 2022, the first world conference AIFertility devoted to the use of artificial intelligence in the treatment of infertility took place in Dubrovnik. Dr. Nikica Zaninovic, the host and main organizer of the event, made sure that all the most important participants appeared at the conference: representatives of the world of science and business who are already working on AI solutions to improve reproductive medicine and embryology. MIM Solutions, which works on FOLLISCAN and EMBRYOAID technologies, could not be missing.

Our personal takeaways after the conference are:
– still more work needs to be done in access to care;
– there is an exponential increased need for access and treatment;
– there are not enough providers and lab staff;
– automation and AI are needed to help us improve outcomes, patient satisfaction and access;
– responsible introduction of AI solutions to IVF is all about TRUST.
